Accent Window Systems

Plan Takeoffs, Trade Pricing & Install Support for Contractors

Send us the plans. We take off every window and door the job needs, quote it against a line we can actually get, and install it if you want us to.

As long as you're on the job, we're on the job.

The takeoff offer

Every opening counted

Quantity, size, type, operation, swing - every opening on the set, counted and specified against a line in production with a workable lead time. Ambiguity in the drawings gets flagged and asked about, not assumed. If a mark is missing a swing, a rough opening looks off, or a note conflicts with a schedule, we stop and clarify before we quote. Guessing is how the package becomes the bid risk later.

If an architect specified a brand we don't carry, we say so immediately rather than quietly substituting. Then we propose a line we can get that still serves the elevation and the schedule. Custom home builders, remodelers, and GCs doing residential work in the South Bay are the core reader here - including ADUs and high-end remodels where clients notice product swaps. The takeoff has to survive the walkthrough, not just look complete on paper.

The takeoff is how the window and door package stops being the bid risk. Other trades can frame and finish against a schedule that matches what will actually ship. Lead time sits next to each line so you are not discovering production reality after you have already committed the bid. For bi-fold and moving glass walls, send the opening early - see bi-fold doors. For homeowner packages that share the same account, see Milgard windows and brands. Ready to start - request a takeoff.

Build quotes. We place the PO.

Verified contractors get a login to Milgard's quoting software and trade pricing, and can build their own quotes. Orders are placed by Accent - Tony or John reviews the quote and pushes the PO.

FAQ

Contractor questions

What plan formats do you take?

PDF is best. DWG is fine. A photo of a markup works when that is what you have.

Do you charge for a takeoff?

Ask when you send the set - pricing depends on scope and whether the takeoff feeds an install package.

The architect specified a brand you don’t carry - now what?

We say so immediately rather than quietly substituting. Then we propose a line we can get with a workable lead time.

How do I get portal access?

Request portal access on the contact form. Tony verifies the GC license, then creates the login.

Do you install?

Yes - with our own crews - or we can supply to your installer. Both are normal.

Who's my contact?

John day to day. Tony on scope and pricing.

Send the plans.

PDF preferred. We take it from there.
